Making the Most of your Geography Fieldwork Data

*An online course for teachers and teaching assistants who have already attended the Planning for Excellent Geography Fieldwork across the Primary School course.*
Good use of fieldwork data can help support children's understanding of concepts, processes and core knowledge. This online training will focus on how to follow up fieldwork and complete enquiries. We will look at ways to bring the data you have collected to life, so children can discuss, debate and explore ideas based on the information they have collected.

A Focus on Mapping in the Primary School

This online session will look at progression in mapping from EYFS through to UKS2. We will look at how we use maps to make sense of the world, how to support children to make their own maps and explore opportunities in our local area to use maps. Classroom and fieldwork opportunities will be discussed. We will also explore the use of digital mapping.
